Don't forget to replace the water pump when rebuilding your Dodge or Chrysler 2.7 engine. Chrysler did a nice job of burying this water pump almost inside the engine. Unlike most water pumps that can be replaced in one or two hours, it takes almost a day to replace the Chrysler 2.7 water pump.
Not simply mounted on the block and turned by a fan belt, this water pump is actually turned by one of the timing chains. |
