Piston fits Ford 2.0L/122 CID SOHC engines from 1997 to 1999
OK to use through 2004 when using HAS-2M4889 or equivalent rings with 1.5/1.5/3.0mm ring pack.

Builders Tip: Ford has two variations of the ring pack on the 2.0L SOHC Piston from 1997 through 2004. They can be interchanged. Just be sure to order the correct rings for the pistons you have or are working on. It's only a .3mm difference in the thickness of the top ring, but enough to cause headaches if you put the wrong rings on your pistons. |
