No warranty claims can be made or granted once the crankshaft is installed.
All cranks ship micro-polished and with anti-rust coating applied.
It is the technicians duty to thoroughly clean and inspect the crank before installing.

Anti-rust coating must be throughly cleaned from crank prior to installation

Technical Commentary:
Does your old crankshaft have damage on the thrust bearing journal?  If so, be sure to replace the torque converter at the same time you install your crankshaft or crank kit.  A bad torque converter will cause your crank to prematurely fail by exerting excess forward pressure on the crank.
