At Perfect Engine, we prefer to call our engines remanufactured, not rebuilt. Every wear part is either precision machined or replaced before final assembly. All engines include new pistons, piston rings, crankshaft bearings, camshaft bearings, timing belts or chains, gaskets, seals, and oil pump. Engine blocks, crankshafts, and cylinder heads are reconditioned back to OEM specifications before final motor assembly.
Some components such as camshafts and valves may be reconditioned or replaced as required. All parts are inspected for cracks.
Oil pans, valve covers, and timing covers are not included in our standard engine pricing, but can be offered at an additional charge. The installing mechanic will traditionally clean, paint, and reuse these parts.
Our truck fleet provides free pickup and delivery for remanufactured engines in Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego, California.
